Ava Wines Online was established in 2006, and is the latest exciting business venture of Paul Hillen, proprietor of The Ava Bars, Restaurant and Off Sales in the picturesque seaside town of Bangor, County Down.

Paul and his family have built a strong reputation for excellent service and high standards at The Ava since the early 1940's.

The Ava Off Sales is regarded as one of the finest independent wine shops in Ireland, offering a dynamic, eclectic range of wines from across the globe. Small parcel, individual wines are integral to the range and are promoted with passion and enthusiasm by an extremely knowledgeable team of wine loving staff.

The Ava sources its wines from a number of extraordinarily dynamic wholesalers who operate solely within Northern Ireland, each of which has particular strengths with regard to certain wine regions/countries.

Paul noticed that there wasn't a dedicated online store pulling together the portfolios of all these fantastic merchants, creating a one stop shop, and so began two years of work to put Ava Wines Online together.
