Although Australia is not a very large wine producer it has managed to create wines to suit many tastes and pockets. Australian reds are made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, they tend to be full-bodied, with rich fruit and noticeable oak influence. White wines hale from Chardonnay, again oak aged. Other whites include Semillon & Riesling.
